Life as of NOW!! Update! 02/04/2013
So a bit of time has passed sense my last posting, sorry everyone! Life caught up with me, and boy do I have a lot to fill you readers up on!
So sense my last posting 09/08/2012, my husband and I had our one year anniversary! We went out to dinner and a movie, and had a wonderful time. My mother-in-law watched Amelia for us, so we didnt have to worry about getting home at a certain time, and we just took our time eating, the movie was good, and we just acted like love-struck teenagers, it was great!
In October we moved closer to my husbands work, but we were half living in one house, and half in the other. We finally had all of our things moved into the new house December 1st.... and let me tell you, it was not fun having things here, there, and everywhere! Did I also mention that our other place was an hour and a half away, so it wasnt like we could just pop over to grab what we needed...... But we are loving that my husband works just 15 minutes away, and is home by 5:30pm every night, vs the 6:30 it was before.
We found out that we were expecting in October as well, which was great, sense we were trying to conceive! We were so happy and ecstatic about it! Then during our dating ultrasound we found out that not only were we pregnant, but we were pregnant with TWINS!! Thats right, TWINS!! Twins do not run in either of our families, so we were completely shocked!
My husband decided last minute at our December ultrasound (at 20ish weeks) that he would like to know the gender of the babies, they are fraternal, so there was a chance of boy/boy, girl/girl, and boy/girl. We had decided to wait to find out with our daughter, and had decided to wait for all pregnancies, but my husband was too excited to wait, and sense we did it my way last time, we decided to find out! BUT.... those babies were not cooperating... They had their little legs closed super tight, and had their little heels on their bums... no way to find out that time.
Because we are pregnant with twins, we have to have an ultrasound every month at this point, so we knew that there would still be a chance to find out, and so during our Jan 29th appointment we found out the genders!
GIRLS! We are having TWO GIRLS!
That makes three, yes THREE DAUGHTERS!! Oh my..... all I have to say about that is, EEEKKKSS!!!
I am super excited, but so afraid of puberty time...
We will have three girls two years and two months apart, Amelia turns two March 26th, and my due date is May 13th, but twins typically come early, so they can potentially be born anywhere from April 22nd to May 13th.... That means three little girls all going into puberty right around the same time..... Oh, my!
Amelia is super excited for babies, she doesnt care if they are boys or girls, she says "Hi" to my belly all the time, talks to them, and gives my tummy/the babies kisses and blows raspberries. She is super great with her cousin who is 7 months old, and I know she will be a great little helper. My husband is excited as well, we really just wanted healthy babies, which they have turned out to be!
There has been some drama in dealing with the hospital and the OB, but thats for another post, as Amelia is now demanding my attention...

Spastic Saturday 9/8
On Friday I had a dog sitting job, and the owners weren't home as soon as they expected, which meant that I crashed pretty much as soon as I got home. I didnt get to post my Fabulous Friday Craft, so please look out for it tomorrow! As you may know, I have an 18 month old daughter and she loves crafts, so I try to find as many neat things for us to do as possible.
Today was my first Spastic Saturday, and if you don't know what that means, well then I will just have to tell you!
I have a dog sitting job that is on a "as they need me/if they want to go out" basis, the three dogs are super sweet and adorable! They are wonderful to watch, and seriously, the owners said that I can watch tv, read, do whatever, they just need someone there with their dogs because one has separation anxiety. So Friday I was reading a book, and doing a bit of cross stitching making x amount an hour. Now I am also the housekeeper for these same people, its something new that I just started doing(both the dog sitting and housekeeping) for them. They just bought their home, and its lovely, but the people who owned it before them didn't clean as thoroughly as the new owners do. So I was there for 5 hours, scrubbing everything from the kick boards, to bathrooms, to the sticky banister, to the cobweb ceiling. This is something that I will be doing every other Saturday, and it should never be this bad again, like I said, the new owners are pretty OCD about being clean and cleaning. Also after today I realized the best way to clean their house is from room to room, vs going around and doing all one thing first, because oh boy, three levels up and down, and up and down, just about killed my out of shape tukus, but on the plus side, it will be getting into shape faster this way!
So along with being woken up at 6am because Amelia decided that sleeping in is for wimps, I brought her back to our room and tried to nurse her back to sleep. After an hour of this not working, I rolled over and poked my husband, and asked him if he was going to get up with her, or if I was going to. He did, because he is just awesome like that, and I got to sleep in til 8am, then make breakfast, and head off to work at 9:30am til 2:30pm! All in all it wasn't too bad of a spastic day!

Thankful Thursday 9/6
I hope everyone enjoyed my Wordless Wednesday photo! My friend Amber over at Owl Lady Photography drove for a little over an hour to take family photos of my husband, my daughter, and I, and I think they came out amazing!
I've decided to do a "Thankful Thursday" segment along with my "Wordless Wednesday" segment, as I realize that I have a lot to be thankful for. So for my first Thankful Thursday, I would like to tell you why I am so thankful for my husband.
My husband Andrew and I met three years ago this September 12th, and not soon after dating I realized that "Hey, I am falling in love with him!" He was so different than the guys I knew, he was funny, sarcastic, loved to joke, was a bit of a nerd, loved to play video games and read, and he was always making me smile. We had a lot in common, but we had many differences. We had been dating for 9 months when we decided to try to conceive, and after less than a month of trying, we were pregnant!
We had our daughter on March 26th, 2011 and she was the most beautiful thing that we had ever seen. We had decided to wait the whole pregnancy and to be surprised when she arrived. We found that it was more fun that way, we had both names picked out, and had chose gender neutral nursery items.
Andrew and I decided that we would live off from one income so that I could stay home and take care of Amelia. So here we are, my husband leaves the house at 6:30am and doesn't get home until 6:30pm. We see each other for a few minutes before he leaves for work, and for a couple hours after he gets home Monday through Friday. When he gets home at night he takes a shower while dinner finishes up, we have dinner, he plays with Amelia, she gets a tubby, cuddles, then is in bed by 8pm, then we usually cuddle on the couch and watch a show for an hour. So we really only get an hour a day of one on one time until the weekend.
Andrew has always been a huge video game nerd, and that is how he relaxes. He used to get a lot of video game time, we used to only live 10 minutes from his work, but then we moved into the house we are currently in, and now its an hour and 15 minutes drive in good weather. So unfortunately, unless he stays up late at night, he doesn't get a lot of video game time in like he used to. Due to the fact that I don't see him much during the week, I smother him on the weekends, we go and do things as a family, or we stay home and relax and play as a family.
My husband does so many things that I have to be thankful for, and the most important one is that he loves me unconditionally; whether I am being ridiculous, clingy, silly, my normal self, or stubborn, and he works hard to support us, and he always encourages all my dreams and fancies.
Its because of how amazing that he is, that I will always be thankful for him and to him.
